Well. Ya see. It's like this.
Mem Sahib is away in the big city, so it's
a good time to get all the little jobs done.
My garage man gave me a car to drive whilst
they do a minor job on the old Disco.
Let's just say it's old, not the Disco. The
car they gave me.
It's a Jauqametti 2.2 open tourer.
With cross flow ash tray, twin squeezey
bottle carburettors, twin overhead bucket seats and an AM radio that can still
pick up Radio Caroline.
Also, a boom box in the back and a nice
smelly Christmas Tree air freshener hanging off the air vent.
The Boom box is, I believe, a fault with
the suspension that makes the boot go "Boom" when you go over a bump.
The Christmas Tree air freshener is very
good. It makes it smell like an old, wet dog inside.
You know, those big shaggy things you take out on long walks, on wet nights and then they lay down in front of the log fire and make the room smell like - well an old wet dog!

But, I did manage to wash my shorts this
morning.
Sit in the garden drinking beer, with my
neighbour, last night.
Get to work on time today. Well nearly. A good effort though.

Also I made some bread rolls using the butter
that Valerie made at Eltham
Palace .
There is nothing quite like watching a well endowed woman making butter!
